Wolderman Creative - The Journey
Wolderman Creative started off in early February 2016 as a little "side hustle" for myself (pictured above). I had been working the classic part time high school, early college student jobs. I started off as a dishwasher, then worked at a grocery store for two years, then moved to a menswear store in Wausau, WI. I wasn't getting much hours, so I needed a way to supplement my income. I started designing websites as a freelancer for very minimal prices as I began to learn the craft. I branded my services as Wolderman Creative right away. I still don't know why I choose that name, but it stuck so I'm going with it.
Business was doing okay, I was steadily growing and getting a little bit larger projects, but by no means was I rolling in the big bucks. I was making enough just to pay for my gas to get to school and back, have some fun on the side, and invest some back into the business. It was like this until about July.
In July of 2016, I went though some very major life changes. I had some personal and family things going on as well as I moved to Minneapolis, MN. And in all honesty, business was horrible during July. I didn't get one client. It felt horrible.
But, I didn't just give up. I kept pushing and searching, and eventually I came across opportunities. We started getting larger clients and more of them. This has helped me to hire some people to help me out on certain projects which has allowed me more time to work on developing the brand and the mission. We are in the process of developing into an all around branding and creative company.
We are more than excited for what the rest of the year has to offer and are dreaming of the possibilities that will be coming in 2017. If you are looking to start, grow, or re-brand, we are now taking clients starting in the beginning of 2017. To figure out how we can help grow your company in 2017 click the button below!
I want to personally thank you for taking the time to read this brief summary of my journey with Wolderman Creative. I would also love to connect on LinkedIn, or even go grab a coffee sometime!
